Our Discord Bot

Discover how the Lore Discord Bot can give your team an edge and learn how to link up and get different roles.
The Lore Discord Bot shares information between Lore and your team's Discord server.
Once installed, Lore's data becomes accessible on your Discord server. This allows you to acquire roles, vote, receive notifications, and even set your own token gate. Additionally, your Discord ID will be visible on your Lore group's Member tab for easy identification.

How To Install the Lore Discord Bot

Once installed two new channels will be created:
  1. 1.
#lore-auth: This channel will give users a code to use on Lore to verify their wallet.
  2. 2.
#lore-logs: Once any new role is granted, removed, or changed, it will appear in this channel.
The Discord server will now appear in the Lore Dashboard, and members can begin the authentication process to obtain a role!
Lore Bot can handle many Lore collectives on a Discord server. To set it up for another group, a Discord admin who is a Singer must connect and install it again. The bot will use the same channels, but role names will include the group's name for clarity.

How To Remove the Lore Discord Bot

To uninstall the Lore Discord Bot, kick it out of the server (but don't ban it) and delete the two channels.
If you want to reinstall the Lore bot, follow the Lore Bot installation process.

How To Obtain Roles With the Lore Discord Bot

As a member of a Lore group, you can get roles on Discord that show your status in the group (signing or non-signing member). After a Signer and Discord admin install the Lore bot using the #lore-bot-installation steps, new channels (#lore-auth and #lore-log) will be created for authentication and logging in to your group's Discord Server.
Discord #lore-auth Channel
Follow the steps below to obtain a role:
  1. 1.
Open the #lore-auth channel and click on "Start Authentication".
  2. 2.
A unique, one-time code will be generated for your group and Discord ID.
  3. 3.
Access your Discord settings by clicking on your wallet on Lore after connecting.
  4. 4.
Enter the code from Step 2 and click on "Submit".
  5. 5.
Sign a message on your wallet that looks like the example shown (the number will be different). If you notice differences in the signing message, do not sign it and immediately report the issue to our Discord server.
  6. 6.
Your wallet is now linked to Lore and Discord. Check the #lore-auth or #lore-logs Discord channel for confirmation, and you should see your new role on your Discord server profile.
  7. 7.
Your Discord ID will now also be visible on Lore.
Tip: You only have to verify your wallet once. After that, roles will be automatically added to your Discord for any collectives you are a part of with no extra steps.
